Snoop App – Is it Any Good?

Snoop App is a new app that launched in 2019. The app was created with a mission to help consumers save more money and assist with household bills. The Snoop App has a tagline to ‘Cut the cost of living with Snoop’ and this is the main feature the brand aims to promote.

For those who struggle to save, track their spending and set budgets, the Snoop app covers everything you need to stay aware of what you are spending day to day. How Does the Snoop App Work

Once you download the app and register, you can connect a bank account or credit card. Snoop currently supports just over 50 banks in the UK and pretty much all of the known high street banking providers, like Barclays, HSBC, NatWest, RBS, Nationwide and even Digital Banks like Monzo.

See All Your Money In One Place

Once you are connected, you can see all your money in one place and see the transactions you make day to day in one app. This allows you to check and track your spending by categories, per month and identify trends in your spending.

Review Your Spending

With this data, Snoop provides you with personalised money-saving suggestions based on the data and even tracks the market to see if you can switch service providers for some of your household utilities.

The app uses a combination of your device, phone number and 5-digit key code or biometric login (if set up) to keep your details away from prying eyes. All of your data is encrypted. Whether it’s being stored in our databases or sent to your device, we encrypt everything. The Snoop apps and infrastructure are monitored 24/7 by dedicated monitoring systems. All users can set up, two-factor authentication which helps increase security.

Whether you use the app or our website, Snoop uses two-factor authentication to validate your mobile device and number, making sure it’s really you trying to log in. Snoop carries out regular audits with the help of well-known security partners to screen and enhance our internal security processes and policies. Everyone at Snoop gets regular security training. Plus, our security team continuously reviews, updates, tests, maintains, and improves our corporate security and privacy.

What is the Snoop App Customer Support Like?

There is no web support available based on our review of the website. But you can contact the Snoop customer service team via email at hello@snoop.app

Customer Reviews?

We checked the reviews of Snoop on Trustpilot and out of 42 people the reviews came out at an average of 3.3. Not the best, but certainly not the worst we have seen. There are clearly a few upset customers and a mix of reviews, some are due to the app not working correctly or not showing the correct data and a few just to do with customer support.

Like most tech companies, over the years with constant development of the app, they should (fingers crossed) iron out the glitches and common faults customers are raising.

Our Thoughts – The Bottomline

It’s obvious the Snoop App is new. While they are improving the app and scaling. If you are looking for an all-in-one app for managing your accounts, saving and tracking your spending, go for Monese, Plum or Emma Budget app. Learn more about these apps on our Best Money Saving Apps UK blog.
